My style
The themes that run through my books lean toward family, overcoming, and finding your purpose.
My books have a wonderful blend of fact and fiction. Some storms listed in my books are historically real as well as the many places my characters visit through time-traveling adventures. Many places and storms are also fictitious for the storyline of course. You'll also find some creativity written around some of the areas of our earth that have boggled the minds of men for centuries, such as the Bermuda Triangle.
My background
SG Boudreaux homeschooled her three children for over twenty years. She still teaches her youngest special-needs, forever student, with her two oldest now graduated. She enjoys music, especially playing the drums with her ladies group for special events, writing, creating new creatures for her books, learning new things, gardening, animals, and all things beach related. She and her husband live in the country in Louisiana, unfortunately not near a beach. She is the second youngest of eight children; five older sisters, one older brother, and one younger adopted sister.
The Peregrination Series began in the fall of 2017 after God's leading her to write this series in the summer of 2017. All books in the Peregrination Series have been completed along with another three book series titled Zanchier Series. She has also completed a non-fiction, self-help; a personal journey book under the author's married name Shawna Boudreaux; along with a fun, special needs, awareness book about her adopted daughter. She also finished two more books in 2023. The Barter is a post-apocalyptic, survival, light-romance, and comedy, and the other is a full color illustrated Bestiary to accompany her fantasy adventures. She is also working on the first book in a new five book, time-travel, fantasy series known as the Stormwalker series.

My writing goals
I am working on a new series of five books, the first of which is scheduled to release October 14th, 2024. Stormwalker Series, Connections In time, Bain's Story, Book 1. I plan on writing the second book for National Novel Writing Month which is in November. I may not get it completed, but rest assured, it will get started. I plan on releasing at least one book a year; my current record stands at two per year. If all in life goes as planned, you might see the second book in the Stormwalker Series, Connections In Time, Seadon's Story, released by Spring of 2025.
